However, to read an image is to assume of an object of knowledge in a level of representation and interpretation, that in them takes the interpretations of the reality. To read an image is to understand as it is constituted, and this demands a world knowledge, a previous knowledge, that is, it demands a personal and social interpretation. This desconstruo can be carried through by the citizen through its critical reflection. Therefore when observing, analyzing, to study, to reflect, the object if destroys, therefore much thing comes to tona, as experiences, knowledge, ideas, values, etc. With this, this tearing to pieces of the workmanship provokes a rupture capable to lead to the truth. To lead to the reach, over all of what truily it must be perceived in the workmanship.
The first reading that the man carried through was of the image, that it precedes to the reading of the word. In it we read the world, the people, the things. The first world that we search to understand is of the family, our house, yard, small square, quarter, city, state, country. when searching this understanding we are making readings of this world. Critical, pleasant, involving, significant, challenging readings. Readings that inserted in a social and economic context, are of educative nature and politics. The importance of the reading it human being is in the fact of this being a being endowed with conscience reflexiva, capable to carry through a transformation in the conscience. Three periods of training of reading of the image exist: first? is used its personal knowledge, later – its more general knowledge, and finally? the aesthetic knowledge, that is elaborated and that it depends on a previous knowledge and the experience. In the same way that one becomes necessary to learn to read and to write the word, as Pablo Freire defends, is necessary to read the world, of dynamic form, that ties to language and reality.
